This includes diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and GI and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. While this specialized study requires advanced and focused training, endocrine surgeons provide comprehensive treatment for both adult and pediatric patients. Their goal is to treat the patient as a whole to ensure the best possible outcome.
