What to Expect with Your Appointment
We look forward to helping you meet your healthcare goals. Here are some guidelines to get started:
If you have an in-person appointment, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you are seeing a specialist, we may ask you to arrive earlier. This will help us make sure you are checked in for your appointment and your provider can see you on time. If you arrive late, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
If you have a telehealth appointment*, please call or log on at your appointment time or the time requested. You will receive detailed instructions via MyChart or from your clinic on how to prepare for this appointment. If this is your first telehealth video appointment, please review the instructions before your appointment time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. We understand that scheduling conflicts happen. If you can’t make your appointment, please cancel as soon as possible so that another patient can access the care they need. Late cancellations may result in a $50 fee. You can call your clinic to cancel or cancel directly in your MyChart account, and we will help you find a better time.
For appointments Tuesday-Friday, we require at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to cancel.
For appointments on Monday or the day after a holiday, we require at least 72 hours (3 days) advance notice.
Let us know what medications you are taking, including any herbs and supplements. You may bring them to your appointment in their original containers or simply bring a list of the names and doses.
If you have medical records from a non-Presbyterian Medical Group provider or clinic that you would like to share with us, please let us know. We can help you transfer over any relevant records about your care.
We know you have many options in choosing your healthcare team. Thank you for trusting us with your care. We look forward to caring for you!
